About the Artist
Isabella Greene, or, Vispera Verde, is a mixed-medium artist based in Torrington, Connecticut. Her weapons of choice; acrylic mediums, canon cameras, mint tea, and an old paint brush. Her evolving journey includes targeting new mediums she’s never tried before, while consistently honing her craft as an acrylic painter.
Their thought process and resulting work, are in a playful phase. Isabella continues to enhance her powers by dabbling in liquid additives such as flow enhancers, textures, and molding pastes. She recently has discovered her want to explore the intersection between dystopian landscapes and 860.
If she is not painting, you can find her traveling yearly to new places far and wide, eating at hidden gems, or ice skating not impressively.
Why am I like this?
Isabella Greene wants to first thank her parents for always supporting her and pushing her to challenge herself. Secondly, growing up with two younger sisters has had a major impact on who Isabella is; A protector, an advocator, and listener. And she wouldn’t want it any other way.
Having graduated from The University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and simultaneously studying Spanish, Isabella has found herself to be a Jill of Many Trades. Her new interests frequently spawn and are not limited to painting and ice skating, but extending to nail art, DIY projects, and even sky diving. She never thinks she is unable to do things. Because why not?
Aside from painting, Isabella Greene works in the mental healthcare field and has been employed at a private counseling practice since 2022. From starting as a peer mentoring intern to now co-facilitating group therapies alongside licensed clinicians, she is finding herself drawn to treating clients through art expression and therapeutic techniques.
Her plan is to take more prerequisite studio art courses in the upcoming Spring 27’, then apply for a Master’s in Art Therapy and Counseling program before becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a specialization in Art Therapy.
